Hey-ya Minecrafters,
Attention! According to reports, two days ago a rocket broke into orbit and crashed. A team of scientists is currently investigating the crash site and has some initial results to show.
It has not yet been possible to determine what caused the rocket to crash. However, the research team has already been able to determine a few things.
The researchers agree: it's up to you to solve the mystery! The lost astronaut was last seen on the rocket. But be warned: he no longer seems to be who he once was and will not give up the ignition key without a fight. Players who overcome this obstacle will hold the key to a whole new adventure in their hands.
Breaking news? Crash landing? Rocket ignition key? What does all this mean in practice?
Before you can go into space, you have to prepare a few things. Two new structures are now generated in the farm worlds. Rockets have crashed in the badlands, which are the most important starting point for your first space mission. Defeat the lost astronaut to obtain fuel and oxygen ampoules, as well as a rocket ignition key. The ignition key is needed to start a mission, while the ampoules are for survival in zero gravity.
Now only one thing is missing to start the adventure in space, a spacesuit. Every week you can obtain a weak spacesuit free of charge from the space NPC in the lobby to go on missions. Bear in mind, however, that this is not as strong as a self-made suit, as it does permanently lose its durability in a vacuum. You can create your own and stronger spacesuit using the loot from the scientist. These can be found in the laboratories, which can spawn in the Snowy Plains.
With the crystals that the scientist drops on death and some steel, the four parts of the suit are craftable and allow you to breathe in a vacuum as well as navigate through zero gravity.
If you now have a rocket ignition key, several oxygen and fuel ampoules and a suitable spacesuit, you can start a mission in the CityBuild lobby.
There you can choose either a solo or a duo mission. For the latter, all you have to do is write down the name of your teammate in the menu and they must accept the mission in the chat.
In later missions, you can use capsule pieces to craft a small escape capsule by defeating the bosses and keep it in your inventory. This allows you to collect your items from the portal if you die.
All packed and mentally ready to go? Perfect! There are three zones for the missions: Our sphere, the solar system and the deep space.
Of course, you have to explore the Earth's orbit first, but you can explore further and further afield!
Please note, however, that the area is limited to 10,000 x 10,000, and you must not float too low through space, otherwise the Earth's gravity will pull you back to the ground!
In addition to the structures, you can also explore some bosses. There are astronauts and also the dog Laika, who explore our orbit. Furthermore, the man in the moon can be discovered and defeated.
The journey continues from our own orbit into the vastness of the solar system. Instead of a rocket ignition key, you now need a spaceship ignition key.
We hope you have memorised the planets, if not consider the following:
Many Very Educated Men Just Screwed Up Nature - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune
As the name suggests, the sun is also part of the solar system. But pay attention to the climate of the planets and astral bodies. Not only could the sun be too hot for you, the closer the planets are to the sund, the more dangerous it becomes.
The same applies to the distance, the further away from the sun, the colder it could get.
IYou won't be the only ones who dare to go this far. The area is teeming with unknown flying objects and aliens that you will never see on Earth.
You should also watch out for the businessman and the structures of the ‘little prince’. No one has ever seen anything like this before!
As already mentioned, you will need rocket and spaceship ignition keys, oxygen, fuel and a spacesuit for the missions. But space offers even more new items!
Stardust
Stardust is a new basic resource that can be obtained by defeating bosses, as well as in some structures.
This dust is needed for many processes, such as crafting light and operating the press
Press
The press is made from stones, a steel and a crystal.
It can compress blocks so that they take up less space. A maximum of 576 blocks (9x64) can be pressed into a single block.
You can also use the press to temporarily upgrade your armour, for which you need unknown material.
Lava shoes
Lava shoes can only be found in space and allow you to walk over lava.
Similar to Frost Walker shoes, they place tuff underneath you as soon as you want to walk over lava.
Rescue capsule
This can be crafted with 9 capsule pieces.
As already mentioned, the small rescue capsule allows you to collect the items you lost when you died.
Titanium tools
With the new resource titanium, which can be found on various planets, special new tools can be produced.
The titanium pickaxe makes it possible to mine entire veins of ore at once.
The titanium axe automatically chops up logs so that you can add planks directly to your inventory.
The titanium hoe can automatically create a straight row of 8 blocks in farmland.
The titanium cutter helps you to mine glass immediately.
Alien Blaster
You can also make a new weapon, the Alien Blaster. With a stardust and two titanium you get a celestial firearm!
In addition to the big space update, you can also enjoy the wonderful new Crate items.
As always, you can get a new colour gradient, new particles, several custom plushies as well as custom armour and tools!
We hope you like the update and wish you lots of fun trying out the cosmos! Explore the vastness of space and explore areas where no man has gone before!
As always, we welcome feedback on the update and suggestions for new features in the forum or in the Discord.
With kind regards,
Your GommeHD.net team
