BedWars is a distinct development by this network and builds upon Classic BedWars, which itself is roughly based on the earlier gamemode known as Beastmode. It is your mission to work alone or in teams to protect your bed and destroy those of your opponents. Each team has their own identical island as their base, which is where the bed is located. Therefore each BedWars game takes place on floating sky islands.
Should a player die or get killed by an opponent, they will lose most of their equipment. Any resources that were carried at that time belong now to the opponent. After a 3 second cooldown, the player respawns in their base, but only as long as their bed still exists. If someone manages to destroy your bed, you will not die immediately, but you will also not be able to respawn. Whenever a bed gets destroyed, everyone gets notified through the sound of a dying Wither.

BedWars combines skills like strategic planning (alone or in teams) and the ability to fight.
All the necessary equipment can be purchased with bronze, iron and gold from a Villager (item shop) in your base. Talk to another Villager (upgrade shop) to exchange diamonds to unlock useful upgrades for your team and your own base.

Resources

You can find spawners which generate bronze and iron by default in your base. Additionally, you can find gold spawners in the center as well as diamond spawners on the islands inbetween. These spawn resources in set intervals. At level 1, the following spawn rates apply to the four resources:

1 diamond - every 25 seconds
1 gold ingot - every 35 seconds
1 iron ingot - every 8 seconds
1 bronze ingot - every second

The Chat

There is both a team and a global chat in BedWars. To send a message in the team chat, simply type your message as usual in the chat. If you want to use the global chat (can be read by all teams), simply add an "@all" in front of your message.
