Hey-ya Minecrafters,
the time has come again – today we're releasing a major TTT update with new content and gameplay features!
It includes a revamped map pool, the new dual identification system, and special features on selected maps. New items and comprehensive balancing are also part of the update, which will bring a breath of fresh air to the gameplay. In addition, there are numerous QoL adjustments and new achievements that will put your ambition to the test.
Below you will find a more detailed overview of all changes. We hope you enjoy playing!
There are lots of changes and new features waiting for you in the respective shops. Be sure to try everything out to find your new favorite items.
The map pool will also be changed in this update. Thanks to numerous reworks and the return of some maps, the new map pool continues to provide fresh variety and increased tactical depth: Atlas, Cove, Paraiso, PirateBay, Terminal and Valley are all getting an update and will appear in a completely new form. In addition, the former maps Barock, Cube, Viking and Yuki are making a comeback. Here's a little preview of what you can expect:
Atlas:

Cube:
Pier:
PirateBay:
Terminal:

Viking:
Yuki:
Unpopular maps will also be removed from the map pool with this update. This affects Klunkermine, Lignum, LesRues, Harbour, Monastery, and Seaport.
One of the new features in this update are the new gameplay elements that have been implemented on four different maps.
This serves to make each map unique and add value. For example, on MinecraftCity, you can drag players into the lava as either a traitor or a detective.

There are also spoilers for the other new map features here:
Even though we are starting with a small number of map elements, we plan to continue expanding them. To do this, we need your feedback so that we can make the best decisions for future changes.
This update also introduces dual corpse identification. What exactly does that mean?
In short, the stick is returning as an additional identification method alongside the offhand. Until the release of TTT 1.16, corpses could only be identified using the stick in the hotbar.
From now on, you can use both the offhand and the stick to identify corpses.
The reason for this is not only the popularity of the stick, but also the possibility of introducing further mechanics and features related to corpses into the game in the future.
Finally, there are even more achievements for you to look forward to.
We hope you enjoy the update and have fun trying out the new content!
A big thank you to everyone involved—both the team and the community. Without your detailed ideas, built maps, and justified criticism, this update would not have been possible in its current form.
As always, we welcome feedback on the update and suggestions for new features in the forum or on Discord.
And stay alert... the Traitor is closer than you think.
With kind regards
GommeHD.net Team
