It's been long awaited, now it's a reality: With the Quest + Milestones update, CityBuild gets exactly the feature that so many of you have been waiting for since its release!

From now on, you can take on new quests every day, collect rewards and work your way up through milestones. Whether you're just popping in for a quick look or going all the way, there's always something worth doing!

We are delighted to finally be able to present you with a system that motivates you, rewards you and simply makes CityBuild even more fun. So grab your tools and let's go - your adventures are waiting!

» The new quest system

From now on you will find a new NPC at the spawn, which gives you an overview of the daily quests and milestones. The menu can also be opened with the command /quests. In addition to the daily quests and the community milestones, you will also find the remaining time, the quest skip tokens and the quest points.

What can I expect from the daily quests?

Via the main GUI or the /quest menu command, you can view three new quests every day and tackle them directly.
Important: The quests differ from player to player, so everyone gets their own challenges. 

What if these tasks are too difficult for me?

No problem! With skip tokens, you can skip a quest and swap it for a random new quest from the quest pool.
Depending on your rank, you even have regular access to these tokens:

• Premium players receive a skip token with a 72-hour cooldown
• Supremium players receive two skip tokens, each with a 48-hour cooldown

You can also obtain additional tokens via crates or the admin shop.
You will receive 50 XP, $5,000 and one quest point for completing your first quests. You will receive these rewards automatically! But that's not all! If you manage to complete all three quests on several consecutive days, your rewards will increase automatically. The longer your streak is, the more XP and $ you will receive! A streak is defined as the series of days in which you complete all quests.

And what exactly are quest points? The points you earn remain valid for 30 days and can be redeemed to buy discounted items in the admin shop.

» Milestones - your progress, your reward!

The community milestones can be found via the following item in the Quest GUI:

If you now click on the item, the following GUI opens:

In the new Gommunity milestone GUI, you can see at any time which of the nine possible levels have already been reached and which are still to come. The highlight: You don't have to collect any rewards manually - everything is unlocked automatically as soon as you have completed a level! No stress, no clicking - just play and make progress.

What does the new community menu show?

• Current goal of the Gommunity!
• Total progress in per cent (%)
• Your personal contribution - with your position in the ranking!
• Top three players - who really got stuck in?

And the best thing is: you can see immediately whether you will receive a reward and what awaits you. All clear, all transparent.

Important to know:

• You receive rewards for milestones automatically - no need to collect them manually!
• You collect badges with the quests and milestones.
• The community tasks run for 2 to 4 weeks, after which there is a new one.

At this point we have shown you the milestone GUI. Now let's move on to the community milestones - quests and their rewards.

» New in the Hall of Fame: The best milestone heroes!

With the update, our CityBuild Hall of Fame is also getting an upgrade! From now on, there will be a new category dedicated to community milestones. After each milestone (i.e. every 2-4 weeks), the top 10 players who have contributed the most to the common goal will be immortalised there:

Rank 1-3: As real skins in the Hall of Fame - visible to all!

4th-10th place: With your own shield and player head on the wall - that's also pure glory!

The structure remains exactly the same as you know it from the previous Hall of Fame areas. (See spoiler)
So if you don't just want to play, but want to make history, you should get stuck in!

Whether you simply want to complete your daily tasks, crack the milestones together with the community or immortalise yourself in the Hall of Fame - the new update brings a breath of fresh air and plenty of motivation to CityBuild.

So grab your pickaxe, sort your crates and off you go! Because one thing is clear: the quests don't do themselves - but the rewards are worth it! 😎

And remember: The community milestones can only be completed in a certain amount of time, so set your deadline very precisely!
