Guide Requirements for a Plot-Move application

In this article, the requirements for a Plot-Move application are outlined in more detail - based on §6 of the CityBuild rules.

A request for a plot move can be created in the subforum CityBuild-Reports with the prefix "Plot-Move". Please note that only interfering plots - i.e. only plots of other players - will be moved if the requirements mentioned below are met (CityBuild-Reports guide).

Requirements for a plot move application

1. It is possible to move a disruptive plot if the applicant can prove in a suitable manner that the other user is intentionally and maliciously preventing him from merging (§3 section 2 General Rules) and can prove that he has already recently moved his own plot himself in order to escape this problem;
2. Or if, for system technical reasons provided by the server team, the applicant cannot move his own plot himself, if the following other requirements are cumulatively met:
   • With the move of the interfering plot, it must be possible to fulfill at least a 9-way merge
   • The plot to be moved must not be located at the edge of the merge but must be completely surrounded by plots of the reporting end ( including the corner plots)
   • The move request must be justified and the move must serve a purpose
   • At least one of the following conditions must be met:
     • The plot to be moved would not be automatically deleted within 30 days due to inactivity ( accessible via /plot deleteinfo)
     • In the case the player is active, a trade of the plot has failed for a good reason (e.g. overpriced, disadvantages for the selling player, etc.).
     • The plot is completely or almost completely empty

Please also note that the final decision on whether or not to move a plot is made by the server team on a case-by-case basis, so even cases that meet the requirements may be rejected (e.g. due to too much effort, special plots, etc.). Likewise, exceptions to the above requirements may be granted by the server team in special cases, but there is no right to do so.

The server team generally reserves the right to move plots without giving reasons.
